Activities / Symposium 2024 Gravity & Impact
Lecture room C0.05, Science Park
3 december, 12:30 - 18:00
It’s that time of the year again: the annual physics and mathematics NSA Symposium is right around the corner! This year, the symposium will be held on the 3d of December from 13:00 to 18:00, (free lunch from 12:30) in lecture room C0.05 at Science Park.
What better way to spend your Tuesday afternoon than to come listen to the amazing panel of speakers we have prepared for you, right? A new year means a new theme of course, and for this iteration of the NSA Symposium, the theme is Gravity & Impact. Throughout their talks, our speakers will show the gravity of importance that the pursuit of physics, mathematics and the sciences in general, has, how that pursuit involves and greatly contributes to our understanding of the world, making an impact on everybody. As in previous years, there will be four speakers, two mathematicians and two physicists: Marie-Colette van Lieshout, Cristiane Morais Smith, Jan de Beule, and Richard Ellis.
As for the logistics, the talks will officially begin at 13:30, but we will be serving free lunch from 12:30 in the Brainwave! Note that, in order to qualify for this free lunch, we ask that you register by the 29th of November at the latest.
