Symposium 2023/2024
Symposium 2023/2024 123 / 150 Registrations

It’s that time of the year again: the annual physics and mathematics NSA Symposium is right around the corner! This year, the symposium will be held on the 5th of December from 13:00 to 18:00, in lecture room C0.05 at the Science Park. What better way to celebrate Sinterklaas than to come listen to the amazing panel of speakers we have prepared for you, right? We might even treat you with some pepernoten (if you’ve been good this year)…

New year means new theme of course, and for this iteration of the NSA Symposium, the theme is “Crossing borders”. Across their talks, our speakers will demonstrate how the pursuit of physics and mathematics (and science in general) involves and greatly benefits from crossing geographical and social borders, and also from going beyond the limits of different scientific fields to do interdisciplinary research.

As previous years, there will be four speakers (two mathematicians and two physicists): Eva Miranda, Karim Adiprasito, Mazi Jalaal, and Ilse van Bemmel.

As for the logistics, the talks will officially begin at 13:30, but we will be serving free lunch from 12:30 in the Brainwave! Note that, in order to qualify for this free lunch, we ask that you register by the 23rd of November at the latest.

Non NSA members can sign up via:
